Our Support Vehicle

To support our studio based services, Atlantic Detailing operates a professionally presented support vehicle, built to the same standards we apply to every vehicle that leaves our studio.

Primarily used for logistics, marketing and events, it also allows us, in certain situations, to undertake carefully selected off-site projects, typically for private vehicle collections, specialist projects, or vehicles that cannot be easily brought to us.

All detailing and correction work remains carried out within our controlled studio environment, ensuring consistent, high level results.

Wax is DEAD

In 2024 we teamed up with Wax is DEAD as part of their approved detailer network, quickly we were awarded with the highest ‘ELITE’ level certification. We are now ranked with highest level Wax is DEAD detailers in the world having full access to the highest grade ceramic coatings. All work is carried out by Darren himself within the detailing studio in Burgess Hill Sussex

Audi RS4 Cosmetic Recommission

From this… to this.

This RS4 arrived with years of built-up grime and heavily weathered paintwork that had lost much of its original depth and vibrancy.

Following a thorough deep clean and decontamination, the paintwork underwent multiple stages of paint correction to tackle the heavy swirling, defects and loss of clarity.

The polishing process has completely brought the colour back to life, revealing the depth and richness of the blue metallic and transforming the overall appearance of the car.

A slow and careful process, concentrating on achieving the best possible improvement while retaining as much of the original finish as possible.

With the cosmetic side of its recommission now complete, the RS4 left us and headed straight to its mechanic for the next stage of its recommission, taking care of the mechanical side before it returns to the road.

Great to play a part in bringing this RS4 back to where it should be.

From inspiration to reality 💚🖤

Our customer sent us a photo of a Defender and asked if we could replicate the colour scheme on theirs.

Starting with an original black Defender, we carefully planned the wrap to retain the factory black across the roof, bonnet and upper sections, while transforming the rest of the vehicle with this seriously bold green.

We carefully selected a premium polymeric vinyl for its incredible gloss and paint-like finish — and in the sunlight it looks absolutely stunning.

The combination completely transforms the Defender while making the most of its original black paintwork.

Definitely not subtle… but that was never the plan. 😎

KGM Actyon in with us for a maintenance wash and a small stone chip repair.

This vehicle was ceramic coated from new around a year ago elsewhere, using another well-known coating system.

It’s always interesting for me to see how different coatings are performing in the real world after 12 months or so. I’m obviously very familiar with how Wax is DEAD coatings behave on the vehicles we look after, so seeing other systems gives me a useful comparison.

Without naming brands or criticising anybody else’s work, I have to say I came away from this one feeling very confident in the coating system we choose to offer at Atlantic Detailing. The finish and behaviour after a year wasn’t quite what I’m used to seeing from the Wax is DEAD coated cars that return to us for maintenance.

The customer was also looking for somewhere new to maintain the vehicle after being quoted considerably more elsewhere for a maintenance wash. We were able to take care of this for him at a much more reasonable cost, along with repairing a small stone chip.

For me, ceramic coating isn’t just about the day the vehicle leaves the studio. How it performs months and years later — and offering sensible ongoing maintenance to look after that investment — is just as important.

Another lovely car now cleaned, checked over and back looking its best.
